ABOUT ALLEN KOOL
Allen has been involved in the Film and Television industry since the early 60's . During this time he has become renowned for his achievements. His career commenced with more than 20 years employment with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) where he involved himself in all areas of film and television production. In 1982 Allen worked as a Director of the CBC National News with Knowlton Nash.
In 1972, Allen formed his own film company Future Film Productions Ltd., as President, Director, Producer. His award winning company specialized in a number of futuristic film formats such as Imax. as well as productions focused on music, such programs as "I am your child" with Barry Manilow, "Floating over Canada" with Murray McLaughlan, Gemini Award winning programs. Since then Allen has produced/directed a number of film and television programs, corporate films, documentaries, and music videos.
In 1978, Allen partnered with John and Sarah Stoneman to form Mako Films Ltd. A Toronto based award winning company specializing in underwater film making, where he produced a number of underwater films, documentaries, and TV programs, and was the Creator of the Imax film Nomads of the Deep.
In 1985, Allen formed Take 3 Film Productions ltd. which producing corporate videos, music videos and commercials..
In 1990, Allen Founded Bluestar Motion Pictures Ltd. producers, of film, and television programming.
In 1993, founded Puppettoons Film & Theatre Company, specializing in live children's and family entertainment, as well as animations.
In 1999, Allen founded Quantum5x Systems Inc. (Q5X) an award winning company which innovates and manufactures wireless technologies for the film, television and sports broadcast industries.
In 2017, Allen formed AKOOLFILM COMPANY a Multi International Award Winning company in development and production of feature films for theatrical and streaming distribution. "The Sanctuary",
